Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fintech Roadmap platform ("Platform"), operated by Fintech Roadmap LLC ("Fintech Roadmap," "we," "us," or "our"). The Platform includes the Fintech Roadmap website and all related services, including our intake submission system, product roadmap, and associated functionality.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. We recommend that you also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

Description of Service

Fintech Roadmap operates a product discovery and validation platform for data infrastructure. The Platform enables users to submit data challenges, suggest product ideas, and request early access to tools in development. Submissions are evaluated internally to inform our product development priorities. The Platform also displays a public product roadmap showing tools at various stages of their lifecycle.

User Submissions

By submitting content through the Platform's intake system (including challenge descriptions, product ideas, early access requests, and any associated metadata), you grant Fintech Roadmap LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, analyze, and incorporate your submission data for the purposes of product development, internal analysis, and platform improvement.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. This license does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to Fintech Roadmap. The license is limited to the purposes stated above and does not grant us the right to publicly attribute or redistribute your submission without your consent.

Uploaded Files

Certain intake forms on the Platform allow you to upload files (including CSV, Excel, JSON, and PDF formats) as sample data to support your submission. Files are stored securely in AWS S3 with server-side encryption enabled.

By uploading files, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to share the files you submit, and that the files do not contain information that you are prohibited from disclosing by law, regulation, or contractual obligation.

Fintech Roadmap will use uploaded files solely for the purpose of evaluating your submission and understanding the data challenge you have described. Files will not be shared with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your uploaded files at any time by contacting us.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Submit any content that is malicious, fraudulent, misleading, or designed to harm the Platform or its users.

Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

Submit data that you do not have the legal right to share, including data subject to confidentiality agreements or regulatory restrictions.

Submit spam, automated submissions, or duplicate submissions intended to abuse the intake system.

Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Platform, including rate limiting, authentication mechanisms, or access controls.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, content, logos, and underlying technology, is the property of Fintech Roadmap LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

User submissions remain the intellectual property of the submitter, subject to the license granted in the "User Submissions" section above.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Fintech Roadmap LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be available at all times, that it will be free from errors or defects, or that the results obtained from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from submissions made through the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fintech Roadmap LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

In no event shall the total liability of Fintech Roadmap LLC exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and post the revised Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
